Tory Horton — 2026 Fantasy Outlook

Horton spent his first two college seasons at Nevada before transferring to Colorado State, where he blossomed into one of the more prolific receivers in the Mountain West. He posted back-to-back high-volume campaigns in 2022 and 2023 (71/1,131/8 and 96/1,136/8 across 24 games), building on a solid foundation laid at Nevada (20/336/5 and 52/659/5). A knee injury derailed what could have been an even stronger draft profile, cutting his 2024 season short after just six games (26/353/1).

Seattle selected him in the fifth round of the 2025 draft after Horton ran a 4.41 at the combine. His biggest obstacle at the next level will be holding up against physical coverage. Defenders who can get their hands on him at the line of scrimmage give him trouble. When given a clean release, though, he gets into his routes quickly and has the tools to threaten defenses at multiple levels. Horton brings reliable hands, natural vision in the open field, and the route-running polish to create separation against varied coverage looks.

In his rookie season with Seattle, Horton scored on 38.4% of his 13 catches, leading to 161 yards and five scores on 23 targets over eight games. He also added a punt return for a touchdown (16/238/1) in Week 3. Unfortunately, his season ended in Week 9 due to groin and shin injuries, which required surgery after the regular season.
