Stefon Diggs — 2026 Fantasy Outlook

Diggs was an absolute stud in his four seasons with the Bills. Over 66 games, he’s caught 445 passes for 5,375 yards and 37 touchdowns on 644 targets while averaging 18.25 fantasy points per game in PPR formats. Davante Adams (359.40, 344.30, 336.00, and 265.40 fantasy points) was the only wideout to outscore him over this span.

In 2023, Diggs caught more than 100 passes for the fourth consecutive season, extending his streak with over 1,000 yards receiving to six years. His best play came over the first six weeks (49/620/5) thanks to gaining more than 100 yards in five matchups (10/102/1, 8/111, 6/120/3, 8/121/1, and 10/100).

Over his final 13 starts, including the postseason, he failed to reach 90 receiving yards in any contest. Diggs averaged only 11.60 FPPG over this span, with no touchdowns over his final seven games. He gained 20 yards or more only 10 times (71 over his previous 64 starts).

The change to the Texans’ offense (47/496/3) in 2024 put him on pace (100/1,054/6) to gain over 1,000 yards if he played 17 games. Unfortunately, a torn ACL in his right knee led to nine missed weeks. His best value came in three matchups (6/33/2, 10/94, and 6/77/1).

Last year, New England only had Diggs on the field for 54.4% of their 21 games, ranking him as their WR3 by snap count. He was on the field for over 60% of their plays in only three matchups (63% three times). Despite his lower window for catches, Diggs gained over 1,000 yards (85/1,013/4) for the seventh time in his 11 years in the NFL. He gained over 100 receiving yards in five matchups (6/101, 10/146, 9/105, 9/138, and 6/101/1).

When at his best, Diggs scored over 10.00 PPR fantasy points in 10 matchups in the regular season while failing to deliver more than 30.00 fantasy points in any contest. New England ranked 23rd in the NFL in pass attempts (502) but 13th in completions (361). Washington only had 287 completions (31st) in 2025, compared to 365 (15th) the previous year when Jayden Daniels was healthy.

In the last update of my projections (8/6), I have Diggs on a path to catch 71 passes for 814 yards and five touchdowns. He ranked as a WR48 over the first 10 days in August in the National Fantasy Football Championship, just below my early outlook (WR43).

Washington’s starting left tackle (Laremy Tunsil) suffered a torn right triceps on August 8th, giving the Commanders’ offensive line a significant hit (he signed a two-year deal for $60 million in March). The ceiling of Diggs and Jayden Daniels hinges on Washington’s ability to pass the ball. As a result, some of the Commanders’ top players may slide in drafts over the next month.
