Jaylin Lane — 2026 Fantasy Outlook

Washington used a fourth-round pick in the 2025 draft on Lane, a compact receiver who spent five college seasons at Middle Tennessee State and Virginia Tech. At 5'8" and 175 pounds, he's undersized for the WR position, but a 4.34 40-yard dash at the Combine puts him in elite speed territory. The technical aspects of his game (route running and release against press coverage) still need considerable work, which points toward a return specialist role as his most likely path to early contributions in Washington.
