Darius Slayton — 2026 Fantasy Outlook

A wave of injuries to New York's receiver corps pushed Slayton into a lead role in 2022, where he paced the position group in snaps (813) and finished with 46 catches for 724 yards and two touchdowns on 71 targets. He was invisible early, missing one game and producing just one catch for 11 yards over three weeks, before finding his rhythm in six quality outings (3/58/1, 5/66, 3/95/1, 5/86, 3/63, and 6/90). He showed big-play ability throughout, turning 26.1% of his catches into gains of 20 or more yards.

Slayton built on that in 2023, giving the Giants a dependable presence in the passing game with career-high marks of 50 catches for 770 yards and four touchdowns on 79 targets. The first half of the season was largely a non-event (19 catches for 257 yards and no scores on 34 targets through eight games), but he heated up down the stretch, posting four touchdown receptions over his final six starts (4/82/1, 3/90/1, 4/106/1, and 5/62/1). Slayton logged WR1 snaps for the second straight year.

The arrival of Malik Nabers reshaped the wide receiver pecking order in 2024, and Slayton never recovered his footing. Despite trailing Nabers by only 14 snaps on the season, his production cratered to three-year lows across catches (39), yards (573), and targets (70). Only two weeks offered any fantasy relevance: a breakout in Week 5 (8/122/1) and a big yardage day in Week 8 (4/108), while he failed to crack 9.00 fantasy points in 13 of his outings.

Last year, Slayton had a further decline in his stats (37/538/1 on 64 targets) while maintaining WR2 snaps (65.7%). He missed three games with a lingering hamstring issue, followed by core surgery in late April. His only playable stats came in Week 9 (5/62) and Week 13 (2/41/1).
