During his final four years in Green Bay, Adams was one of the most reliable receivers in football, hauling in 432 passes for 5,310 yards and 47 touchdowns on 614 targets. He converted 70.4% of his opportunities while averaging 7.8 catches, 93 yards, and 0.82 touchdowns across 57 games. His 2021 campaign was his finest as a Packer, setting personal bests in receptions (123) and receiving yards (1,553), including eight 100-yard outings (8/121, 12/132/1, 11/206/1, 7/115/2, 8/104, 10/121/2, 10/114/2, and 11/136/1).

The move to Las Vegas paid immediate dividends for anyone who had Adams on their roster. He cleared 1,500 yards for the second straight year (1,516), fueled by a career-high 180 targets and a career-best 15.2 yards per reception. The Raiders featured him as a deeper threat, generating 24 receptions of at least 20 yards (seven of which went for 40-plus), and Adams delivered six dominant performances (10/141/1, 10/146/2, 9/126/1, 7/141/2, 8/177/2, and 7/153/2).

His 2023 season brought a significant step back, largely driven by a weaker quarterback situation that cost him 4.1 yards per catch compared to the prior year. Still, Adams surpassed 100 receptions for the fourth year running (103), drawing 175 targets (second-most in the NFL), and finishing with 1,144 yards and eight scores. His explosive plays dried up, leading to only three 100-yard games (13/172/2, 8/101/1, and 13/126/2). He ranked 10th at wide receivers in PPR scoring (265.40), a noticeable slide from second (344.30) in 2021 and third (336.00) in 2022.

Then things unraveled quickly in 2024. After three games with Las Vegas (5/59, 9/110/1, and 4/40 on 27 targets), Adams went down with a hamstring injury, though some questioned whether the ailment was more about engineering an exit than actual recovery. Once traded to the Jets, he needed a couple of games to find his rhythm (3/30 and 4/54) before catching fire over nine starts alongside Aaron Rodgers (60/770/7 on 99 targets). Even so, his 60.6% catch rate suggested the chemistry with Rodgers hadn't fully clicked.

Across the full season, Adams finished with 85 catches for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns on 141 targets. Stretched over a full 17-game schedule, that pace projects to roughly 100 receptions, 1,291 yards, and 10 scores, an output that would have placed him sixth among wide receivers in PPR formats rather than the 12th spot his truncated campaign produced.

The chemistry between Matthew Stafford and Adams was missing in his first year with the Rams. He caught only 52.6% of his 114 targets, ending his five-season streak with over 1,000 yards receiving. From Week 2 to Week 13, across 11 games, Adams scored 14 times but averaged only 4.4 catches for 58 yards per game. A hamstring injury cost him the final three games of the regular season. His only 100-yard receiving game came in Week 2 (6/106/1). Adams never had more than six catches in any matchup. His 2025 stats, prorated over 17 games, come to 73 catches for 958 yards and 17 touchdowns.
