Oronde Gadsden — 2026 Fantasy Outlook
Analysis by Shawn Childs, from his 2026 guide — his words, unedited.
After sitting out the first two games last season, Gadsden flashed in Week 3 (5/46) while delivering top 10 tight end stats from Week 6 to Week 10 (7/68, 7/164/1, 5/77/1, and 5/68). Unfortunately, defenses caught up to him over his final nine games (20/241/1 on 34 targets), leading to only two playable games (4/61 and 3/32/1). Gadsden finished 15th in tight end PPR scoring (132.40) over 15 contests.
Gadsden flashed in 2022 at wide receiver (61/975/6 on 95 targets) at Syracuse. A right foot injury led to him playing only two games the next season (7/67/1). The Orangemen shifted him to tight end in his final year in college, leading to an impressive season (73/934/7). Defense can slow him down off the snap in press coverage, and his short-area quickness is league-average at best. Gadsden has a feel for open space, with a wide wingspan. In essence, he is a big wideout playing the tight end position.
