Josh Oliver — 2026 Fantasy Outlook

Jacksonville selected Oliver in the third round of the 2019 draft out of San Jose State, where he caught 91 passes for 1,005 yards and five touchdowns on 164 targets across his final two seasons. His 2018 campaign was his strongest college showing (56 receptions for 709 yards and four scores on 105 targets).

His early professional career was largely lost to injuries. Between stints in Jacksonville and Baltimore over his first three seasons, he missed 15 games and the entire 2020 season, finishing with just 26 catches for 230 yards and two touchdowns on 46 targets. A move to Minnesota finally gave him room to breathe, leading to him setting career highs across the board in his first Vikings season (22 catches for 213 yards on 28 targets), but his only fantasy-relevant performance came in Week 11 (4/47/1).

With Hockenson sidelined for the first half of 2024, Oliver stepped into a larger role and delivered (22 catches for 258 yards and three touchdowns on 28 targets), highlighted by a three-game stretch midseason (2/30/1, 5/58/1, and 4/52). He did enough to earn a three-year extension from Minnesota worth just over $23 million.

Last season, Oliver caught 15 of his 19 targets for 160 yards and four touchdowns. He scored more than 10.00 fantasy points in only two games (2/35/1 and 2/24/2).
