Blake Corum — 2026 Fantasy Outlook

Corum's 2021 season served as a coming-out party (143/952/11 touchdowns, plus 24 catches for 141 yards and a score). Over the following two years, he became the engine of a Michigan program that captured a National Championship in 2023. His 2022 campaign was the stronger of the two from an efficiency standpoint (247 carries, 1,463 yards, and 18 touchdowns at 5.9 yards per carry), while 2023 saw his per-carry average dip to 4.8 despite a career-high 27 rushing touchdowns (258 rushes for 1,245 yards).

The Wolverines were built around the run, averaging just over 22 passing attempts per game during their championship season, which kept Corum's receiving role minimal. He caught just 11 passes for 80 yards and a score in 2022, and 16 for 117 yards and a score in 2023.

Corum fits the mold of a tough, physical back rather than an explosive one. At 5'8" and 205 pounds with a 4.53 40-yard dash, he won't threaten defenses with speed, but his strength grades well above average. Corum breaks tackles in tight spaces and plays with the conviction and vision to attack interior run lanes effectively. His knock is what happens when a run lane closes: Corum tends to gear down and reset before redirecting, costing him yards on plays where a quicker-twitch back might still salvage a gain.

His rookie season in Los Angeles was largely lost before it started. The Rams gave him only 119 snaps all year, and Corum struggled to find his rhythm as a runner (58/207 – 3.6 yards per carry) while adding seven catches for 58 yards in the passing game. A broken forearm ended his season in Week 18.

Over the first 11 games in 2025, Corum gained 341 yards and one score on 82 carries with a minimal role catching the ball (five catches for 10 yards). The Rams upped his role from Week 13 to Week 16, leading to four playable fantasy games (14.10, 26.10, 13.10, and 13.10). Over this span, he sniped five touchdowns. Los Angeles only had him on the field for 30.5% of their plays, with only one game having over 40% of their running back playing time.
