Nate Boerkircher — 2026 Fantasy Outlook

Updated July 30, 2026

Analysis by Shawn Childs, from his 2026 guide — his words, unedited.

Boerkircher's college receiving numbers won't turn heads (19 catches for 219 yards and a touchdown) across four seasons at Nebraska, followed by 19 catches for 198 yards and three scores in 13 games with the Aggies. But his value isn't built on production. He's a physical, aggressive blocker who brings effort and nastiness at the point of attack, which will earn him snaps at the next level regardless of his target share.

His passing game role will be limited. Don't expect him to be a featured option in the passing game, but Boerkircher won't waste his opportunities when called upon, and he's capable of winning against single coverage. His quick release off the line helps him hold his own as a run blocker, keeping him relevant on early downs. At 6'5" and 245 pounds, there's still room to add bulk and strength, which could make him an even more impactful presence in the running game as he develops.
